Staying in a such a beautifully preserved Kominka was a deeply rewarding experience. Peter and Masami are exceptional hosts, and their home is so cosy and endearing. The space is so relaxing and quiet, and I can’t wait to go back.

Our host is absolutely exceptional in all senses. She prepared delicious breakfasts with fruits, special menus for our children. And every evening we find out our clothes absolutely clean and folded. When we left she insisted to drive one of us to the main station with our luggage so that we did not carry all the heave luggage there before leaving with the Shinkansen. The house is old, very typical.
