Marvellous view of the city, sea, vulcan from the room. Fantastic breakfast in food quantity and quality, we ate outside on the patio of the breakfast restaurant. A lot of warm dishes, a lot of choice and also finest French patisserie. Fantastic onsen in the hotel. Fantastic nature and forest around the hotel. Very quiet at night. We used the bus coach to reach the city from the hotel, we also walked during the day through the pedestrian walk in the marvellous forest. To reach the entrance of the walk from the hotel, just follow the indication "Promenade" from the hotel: it is super easy: get out of the main entrance of the hotel, walk to the left, walk 100mt up to the kiosks selling tourist stuff, here follow indication "Promenade", it is other 70mt , and then take the path going down, it is not a road, it is very easy and very wide trail.

Although there was a mistake with the booking, the hostess was so kind and quickly prepared our room despite the short notice. She was so nice to us and very friendly even though we spoke through a translator. She helped us with our luggage and prepared a cold drink for us. The room itself was perfect, very clean and spacious. The futon was comfortable as well, we enjoyed every second even though we stayed just for one night. In the morning she very kindly offered to drive us to the port despite the early hour. We will forever be greatful for her kindness <3 If that wasn't clear yet, I cannot recommend this place enough! Thanks to you, we arrived safely to Yakushima!

Excellent host. Prompt response! House was very well equipped with added touches to enhance the experience. Host prepared us with detailed information for parking nearby. Once we entered, we were greeted with a basket of snacks and coffee/ tea packets. Toiletries, including facial care products and sanitary napkins were provided. Kitchen was very well equipped. There were even frozen mugs in the freezer for beer! We had fun with the Nintendo switch at night!! The stay was exceptionally pleasant! Thank you very much for the hospitality!!

It has wide, comfortable beds and a bar in the common area where the friendly host serves drinks like speciality coffee & tea, but also beer and Shochu. You can bring your own food and drinks too.
