It's a guesthouse/hostel that is COMPLETELY new, insanely clean, top notch minimalist designs, and the cyclist-specific rooms are amazing. One of the best moments of my trip was waking up after a long day of cycling, and seeing the port sea view from my room. Utterly brilliant. Also Setoda is a really small but beautiful port village, ideal for half a day or a short stay while you are doing the Shinamami Kaido cycling path.

The place is great situated in between Onimichi and Imabari, exactly in the middle of Shimanami Kaido cycling route. Good place to stay if you take 2 days instead of 1 say for the Shimanami Kaido. The neighborhood is also nice and close to the shore. The owner, Taka, and his wife both are very welcoming and friendly. He even went above and beyond to assist and help me. It definitely exceeded my expectations. He also recommended a place to eat, places around Japan to visit, etc. If I ever visit this area again, I would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for all your help.

It's a very nice traditional house with beautiful garden and great view on the town (especially during sunset). The host is very helpful and just a very nice person to spend some time with. The whole place is cozy and has a very chill vibe. I recommend this for people who like to meet people during their travel and who also like to experiance staying in a family house. There is a very nice shared kitchen area for people to meet. During our stay the guests were really quiet in the evening, so there was no problem with the noise.
