The inside was incredibly clean and sleek, people complained about the noise of trains, cars and the rain but I had 0 problems they never disturbed me at all. Check in was easy, it was next to a 7/11, McDonald’s and MOS burger. Only a 5 minute walk from the train station. It was amazing! The bed was very soft and the pillow felt new and soft.

The bed is comfortable, the outdoor pool and the jakuzzi was fascinating. There were multiple toothbrushes, hair clip, toys and condoms included.

Everything was great. The staff were really friendly and made us feel at home, the location was excellent and central, and the room was clean and comfortable. The snacks were a great touch after a long day of travel. We will definitely love to stay again in the future.

A great traditional guest house for travellers! The host is very kind, the place is beatiful and warm. There is a nice common area on the ground floor where you can eat and chat with other guests. The place is very clean. It is located in Samegai, which is a very small town, with no noise and very calm. Quite easy to reach Kyoto from here. Great place!

Stayed there for a week but I feel like I can stay here forever. Firstly l, the staff is so polite and even though he couldn’t speak English he used a translator. The instructions are so well prepared so we can follow it to use the rice cooker and washing machine/dryer. The staff is very nice and moved us downstairs halfway through our stay so we stayed at both levels and it’s very clean. Level 2 is tatami room and it feels so nice to just laze around. Level 1 is wooden floor and feels bigger. Both levels are nice. We drove, so location is ok. Driving to everywhere around town takes about only 5-10 mins. If you have baby, they will prepare the crib / bed and special bin with wet wipe for your baby.

I don't usually leave reviews but I wanted to share our experience at this Ryokan. My wife and I have been in Japan for 10 days and this has been our highlight of the trip. Hiro and his wife were wonderful hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. Dinner and breakfast were spectacular and the whole experience felt like a traditional Japanese homestay. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone who is travelling to Japan!

Probably the best homestay we had in 3 weeks trip in Japan. The place is located in a quiet residential area in Yoro which looks like a very typical Japanese neighborhood with not many other tourists around. Closeby, there are the mountains including several shrines, a waterfall, museums and a large park area. Strolling through the streets by foot to explore the suburban lifestyle in a pretty housing area mixed with lush rice fields was a very nice contrast to the big cities around. There are also some restaurants close by, e.g. an amazing Sushi place. As for the accommodation, it could mot have been better. Mr. Mohei provided us with all information we needed in advance and there is a detailed manual on how to operate the various appliances (washing machine, rice cooker, bread roster, microwave, oven, several ACs, etc.) in the flat, also in English. There is also a lovely terrace to sit on, attached to the living room. Also, towels and hygiene amenities were provided. Thank you Mr. Mohei for your kind hospitality!

Brand new modern finishes in every room every appliance was sparkling and new big 60” smart tv a guide book on all local businesses and shopping centres the local mall was such a hidden gem modern washing machine nice big bath and shower apartment style home comfortable lots of condiments kitchen was loaded. my family of four absolutely loved this place. Will 100% come back if we’re ever in the area again.. despite this place being a self check in @4pm with no staff The owner actually allowed us to check in 4 hours earlier as we arrived in the rain with two kids assuming there was staff and a place to leave our luggage to which there was none.. he kindly spoke with us via door cam and prompted us to finish our online check in before granting early access after a horrible day travelling this was such a life saving gesture as my marriage was one more argument away from divorce 🤣🤣🤣10/10 from me and my family thank you to the owners for our lovely stay
