Beautiful, spacious, traditional Japanese house with great amenities. Very comfy futons, spacious lounge. kitchen and bathroom. The hosts were very, very kind. They welcomed us into the house, responded very fast to our messages, organised snacks and drinks for us, and gave us recommendations for the local area. The house is a short walk from the centre of Sanjo City, in a quiet residential area, I really recommend this house! It's good that there's free private parking too.

A perfect Onsen in a lush Forrest next to the Sumon river. The different Onsen with public and private ones are fantastic, all of them with outside bath. The rooms are nicely designed and renovated with balcony and all needed amenities. The food (Kaiseki) is delicious, the host is very helpful (in English if required).

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Check-in was a breeze. The superior twin room was surprisingly spacious (1 double bed, 1 single bed), even by international standards. Breakfast was simple but hearty and delicious.
