A quiet little place near the center. The host was super polite and helpful with luggage. There is a place outside to put your bike on without a worry of being stolen. Rather spacious and warm rooms. Just pack a mosquito repellent and you'd have a wonderful stay.

The facility was lovely, peaceful, calm and very clean. The baths felt wonderful after a day of cycling. Although there was no restaurant onsite we were able to find food within a five minute walk for both dinner and breakfast.

Everyone is not only extremely professional but also genuinely warm and friendly. The attention to detail was impeccable. The dishes of chef Akita were amazing. This was one of the best places we have slept during our 2 week japan trip. I knew it would be good because of the good comments, but it was so nice. The house is a big old Japanese house. You really feel the Japanese vibe. It is not new so don't expect to have an amazing bathroom or toilets. It is what is it and I think it makes it so charming. The room is very big, and you have kind of a balcony to look at the street and people walking by. Walls are thin so you can hear the outside clearly but it is a calm area. There are beds but we wanted to sleep on futons which they gladly had. They offer bread eggs and ham for breakfast which is so kind. Our host were so kind and friendly we loved staying here. Thank you again for everything, and the ride back to the train station. I will never forget it !!!

The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She helped us navigate rental of bikes, gave us good tips about our bike ride, and helped explain the local experience. The place was clean, spacious and had great location right on the beach. Waking up to the water view was amazing.

We stayed one night as a stop on the Shimanami Kaido. It was a wonderful and relaxing place and the cottage was well equipped. Not much to do in the neighbourhood, and that was perfect for us after a day bicykling. Bring a Book or newspaper and enjoy the silence from the patio or the sofa by the window! Do your yoga on the patio! Remember to bring food, no shop or restaurant in the area. We had good contact with the owner to get keys and information but we never met.

Location is great, it's right by the water. We actually were on our bicycles to get there and no problem locating the hotel. There's plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel, if you come by car. Facilities are great. We stayed in shared dorm using shared bathroom which is no issue for us at all. Bunk bed is quite comfy and quiet at night. Bathroom is squeaky clean, very very clean! We love everything here and will definitely plan a trip to stay here again!

Everything! the building is amazing, the rooms outstanding, the bath and bathroom were just fabulous, breakfast was stunning, and location for cycling couldn't have been better. Love this place. Washing and coffee facilities too - and bike parking in your room. Turbo training available too if weather too bad for cycling.

The location and available parking was great as a starting point for a ride across the Shiminami Kaido national cycling route. The giant store across the street has jersey's avaialble to purchase as a memento.

Because it took a while to find the parking lot, the time limit for check-in (19:00) has passed when I arrived, but the owner is very kind and exempted the penalty for the late check-in. Thank you so much.
