The house is absolutely wonderful, it seems to come out from anime!! Personally I had it all for myself, but it's so big it's great also for families! Yukie-San, the owner, was so welcoming and went above and beyond to help me in every possible way, from the amenities, to local gifts, to tips where to eat, what to try and experience. She even helped me with the links and maps positions of so many places and was always quick at answering! I promise you'll feel at home here and won't regret staying here even if it's just for a couple of nights!

The hosts were really great and accomodating, they even came to get us at the trainstation when we arrived there at 10pm. In the morning too they brought us to the nearby busstop we were going to use. Really nice people! Wish we had more time there, but we had to move out again in tge morning because of our tight scedule. The breakfast was simple but delicious. I'm really coming back for a longer stay here!

Hosts were very accommodating despite speaking little English and my limited Japanese. Translation app overcame that barrier. A stocked fridge and comprehensive facilities made my stay very enjoyable. I was able to cook a simple meal, and do some laundry without having to leave the guesthouse in the heavy snow! The cherry on top was the owner driving me to the dinosaur museum in the morning. Very unexpected but much appreciated.

We really loved the property—it was spacious, had a garage, and was great for our family. The kids especially enjoyed the dinosaur stickers and had so much fun playing on the top bunk bed. Overall, we had an excellent and memorable stay.

Just book it! Young couple offering the accomodation (breakfast included) in a very old traditional renovated japanese house in a small village surroundes by rice fields. Big living room and separate sleeping room. Pyjama etc provided. All products organic. Amazing place with amazing surroundings. The young couple extremly kind and helpful. Picked us up at the train station and brought us in the evening to an amazing good restaurant. The place is not that far from Eiheiji Temple.
