Cozy Inn is an excelent place to stay while touring Nikko and its surroundings. The room is clean, with Air conditioner, an ideal place to rest after a long day walking the temples in Nikko. Hiro is a fantastic host and deserves all the praises received in the other comments. If I ever come back to Nikko, I’m staying here. No doubt.

This was an amazing place and perhaps the highlight of our whole 3 weeks in Japan. We had a villa for four and it was amazing. The private Onsen and sauna really was the icing on the cake. The villa was well equipped, spacious and modern. There were so many high-tech gadgets I didn't really know what some of them were! The welcome drinks in the fridge were especially kind. There is a bus just before the 10:00 a.m. checkout time down to the station in Nikko which was great. Location a little bit out of town but that didn't bother us and it was a nice 15-minute walk.

The whole accommodation is very nice. The beds were super comfy and were facing a big window allowing lots of sunlight. The owner is really friendly and speaks very good English, he allowed us to use the piano downstairs which was amazing. The location is good and easy to get to the train to visit the tourist part of Nikko. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole place is very clean. We loved the snacks provided for everyone. There are great cafe/restaurants nearby and a big supermarket all within walking distance. I recommend going to a breakfast cafe called Morinoshizuku!

Everything was fantastic. The room, the service, the location. In fact, the service from every staff we encountered was outstanding even though they didn’t speak English. They used their phones to translate every encounter and totally made sure they got us what we needed. The rooms were very comfortable and the same floor private onsen was very comfortable and well equipped. Little touches like free Haagen Dazs ice cream just added to the entire experience. Location is also just down the road from the UNESCO Heritage Temples and Shrines of Nikkō. Beautiful tree lined road too.

I like the environment which isolated wit the downtown. It has forest where I could walk alone and meditated without any human interaction. I could see the full moon from the lady outdoor onsen. Car parking is plenty.

This pension is located near a combini and has a small parking lot. The room was quite spacious and had a private bath/ toilet. The check-in was done online, so we didn't meet the owner - might be a pleasant surprise for people who do not want to interact with others.

Tucked away in the mountains 30 minutes away from a parking lot and wonderfully secluded and comfortable. The baths were excellent. The food was excellent. The rooms very comfortable.

Clean, spacious, well equipped, good view and comfortable room, staff were very helpful and friendly, good dinner and breakfast, free parking lot, great location just opposite the lake with very beautiful scenery, public onsen was great.
