We took the half board package which included buffet dinner, the buffet crowd was quite ok (we stayed on a weekday). Room was clean, there was ample parking available as well.

Understated design elegance of the rooms; helpful staff and an amazing dinner/breakfast - we did splurge on the room and the dinner options and had the room with the hot tub/bath on the deck - it was lovely! Loved listening to the pounding surf.

I had a very nice stay. Staff is kind and professional. Room was clean, there was a parking. Around there are lots of restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.

I’m only now writing a review for Shiori place, however this was my first introduction to Japan, and one of our favourite experiences of our whole 2 month trip throughout the country. Not only is she the perfect host, super attentive, open, friendly unbelievably giving , but she went above and beyond what one could ask for from a stranger. After one night we extended our stay and she took us on a tour around the town, to museums, shrines, the beach and we shared several meals together, all of which only made us sadder to leave her. The house is beautiful, has everything you could want from a guesthouse and the traditional interior decoration of Japanese homes. We hope we have formed a friendship for a long time to come and we will never forgot our wonderful stay with her. Please do not hesitate to book, even if it is for a short stay, you won’t regret it. I really enjoyed this place. The bed was comfortable and warm. The house had everything I needed. The owner was very attentive and the place was clean. I loved that they had bicycles for me to ride to the convenience store. It was a short walk to the beach. It was peaceful and surrounded by nature. I loved it so much. If I have the chance, I will definitely stay here again.
