We had 2 wonderful nights here and we absolutely loved it. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They even gave us a ride to the station (multiple times), provided bear bells for our hikes and even helped us cook dinner XD. Also, the breakfast was phenomenal! Thank you so much for everything, we would love to come back!

Wonderfully kind and helpful staff, we felt were treated like VIPs. Also the open air onsen was amazing and food was delicious. The rooms were very traditional, pretty and comfortable.

This was the best place we stayed at during our 3 weeks long travel to Japan. The hosts are hospitable and create a relaxed atmosphere. Food is very good and in decent quantities. The owner picked us up from the bus stop and 3 days later driven us back to it. Do not get me wrong this is not a luxury place with all those facilities you do not use anyway. This is a little hotel with a personal touch - something I value the most. We did not use it but it looked like there is lot of equipment to observe the stars

Nice hotel in the heart of Kiso mountains. Modern and clean accommodation, delicious food and fantastic onsen bath, ideal after a long hike. Very good value for money!

So positively surprised with this one! From the get-go, the lobby feels surprisingly modern and yet replete with solid wooden fixtures and traditional decoration. Very comfortable room and a really nice onsen (though it didn't have the unobscured balcony view we were hoping for). It was the only property where we got to choose our yukatas and obis for the onsen too. Last, I loved the selection of authentic Kiso lacquerware on sale at the lobby!

The hotel is a hidden gem. The facilities were outstanding, the western-style room was very spacious, hotel’s onsen was 10/10. Everything was perfectly clean and neat and the staff most helpful. We traveled as a couple and enjoyed our one-night stay very much.
