What a lovely surprise. Had gone nearby to inspect a house for a friend in the UK. Had intended to return to Tokyo. But got tired and decided to stay overnight. Found the hotel online only 8600 with breakfast. Excellent from start to finish. Warm welcome Relatively large single spotless room with excellent lighting and well thought out plugs coffee and tea. In addition to the room amenities there was shampoo bar in the labour with 40 kinds of premium shampoos with little containers to take them to your room. Innovative. Breakfast aJapanese Bento set which was very nice with lots of great coffee. Staff were very helpful with directions to restaurants. Such a nice stay.

The friendly staff were very patient with my clumsy Japanese. It was a special bonus to find an onsen style bathhouse on site. It was a really good one. The hotel is well situated near some large shops and lots of places to eat. My favourite was a barbecue at your table place. I had good beef plus a salad twice. Very tasty. It is near the Kanow, this restaurant. It was well located near the BRT station and the very helpful information office. Ofunato station. This location provided an excellent gateway to the beautiful Goishi Coast.  Without a car, there is a a local bus that takes only 30 minutes. But the last bus back to the hotel is at 2 pm. Take your walking shoes with you. All the trails are good, and there is also a coastal Trail to the famous Anotoshi iso rock formation. At Goishi beach you can have a seafood bowl while looking out the ocean.
