The ryokan was amazing - the room was beautiful, the futons comfortable, and the staff was very nice and attending. The dinner was very delicious course of several luxurious meals,and the breakfast was a japanese served meal plus a small buffet. The outdoor shared onsen was great, we loved it. Women wear a hotel-provided swimsuit in the outdoor onsen. Men onsen is separated from women and they are open from 6 till 10 and then from the afternoon till midnight. We also tried the private onsen which is an extra charge and needs to be booked in advance and it was nice. There is also a possibility to arrange a massage in your room. The dinner is served at 5 and 7 pm. They provide a free shuttle bus to the station. We plan to definitely come back again in the future, it was a highlight of our trip.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Urashima! The traditional room was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed. The ocean and cliff views were simply breathtaking, and falling asleep on a futon while listening to the sound of the waves was truly an unforgettable experience. I especially enjoyed the onsens—they were clean, relaxing, and the famous cave bath was amazing! Also, the hotel staff was very kind and attentive. Highly recommended!

I went there because of the dinner. Other reviewers had recommended it. They were right. It was fantastic. Local specialities including tuna collar. And the way the food got presented was really fancy. Like a coarse meal.with the chef explaining me different sake. Moreover, originally I had booked a double bed room, even as I travel as single, cos this was only available bedroom according to booking. With a little chat back and forth, they were offering me a cheaper room. So nice and helpful! Onsen was good and clean. I did not book breakfast.

The owner was really friendly and chatted for quite a while. Location was only 11 minutes from Nachi Falls by car and easy to find from the expressway. Room was cosy, clean and was as expected.

The owner and the staff were incredibly kind, the rooms were clean and the views were amazing. The owner even took us to the fish market in the morning when the buses weren’t working yet. We were overall very happy with our stay. Will definitely come here again:)

Just directly opposite Kii Katsuura Station and a cafe away from bus ticket office. Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Soap all smell very nice. A good choice for quick stopover to do sightseeing in Nachi San area.

Classic hotel with the best onsen. The hotel complex is massive and takes a while to get around but is great fun to explore. We had full board and the food was very good, lots to choose from. Plenty of sashimi plenty of everything. Parking is a fair way from the hotel with shuttle buses provided on a regular basis. Make sure you get up early to get to the 7am Tuna auctions, absolutely amazing.

The hotel is composed of 4 buildings, and there are 5 onsens spreading around in the hotel. Two cave onsens are really amazing. Highly recommended to stay 2 nights. Buffets breakfast and dinner are good and there are variety of food to choose. Especially the expresso are really tasty. If you drive a car, some staff are stand ready in their parking lot to take you to hotel by shuttle bus. The last time is until 7:30pm. If you go out in the morning, they are ready at anytime to bring you to the parking lot. Very convenient.

Luxurious overall, cosy calm, fantastic views, extraordinary onsen - huge inside and open air, and absolutely beautiful. Dinner and breakfast extremely fantastic. Service beyond perfect everywhere. Parking easy and serviced, boats every 15 mins with full service straight from the car.

Included breakfast and dinner buffet was great (did not have breakfast due to our itinerary plans) with most of the onsen facilities well worth checking out. Staff were fantastic and accommodating in all areas. Shuttle bus to and from the car park made the journey very easy, as we drove to the area.
