Matt and Ikumi are outstanding hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable and unique experience. They showed us around, helped us organize our trips, and shared many fascinating stories about Japanese culture and local life. There are also wonderful cultural activities available, such as tea ceremonies and calligraphy lessons, which made it possible to experience Japanese traditions firsthand. The internet connection was impressively fast, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay, and we would love to come back someday!

A lovely historic house with great ambience. It is spacious and well furnished with different antique items, very interesting and a great way to get a taste of the local Japanese lifestyle. Maiko was super nice and responsive, she welcomed us at the carpark and gave a house tour to help us settle.
