Wow. We had the most amazing stay. The location, staff and food were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. Our room with private onsen was quiet with beautiful views of the forest and river. The dinner and breakfast were stunning with so many new things to try and my goodness, we did not go hungry. If you want somewhere to completely relax, this is the place. Thank you to everyone at SansoTensui for making our stay so special.

The owner, who is very friendly, as is all staff actually. In the middle of the charming old town of Hita, a relatively unknown gem. Make sure to book dinner, which is served in an adjacent restaurant, which belongs to the hotel. Amazing standard of cooking, Japanese with some international influences. The breakfast, served in the hotel, is Japanese and excellent as well. Our room had a private bath and shower. On top of that, there are two Onsen in the hotel as well, who can be reserved for private use by the hotel guests. Free parking right in front of the hotel.

Wow. We had the most amazing stay. The location, staff and food were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. Our room with private onsen was quiet with beautiful views of the forest and river. Very convenient location for bus and train and easy to drive with adequate parking. Small but tasteful onsen which we really appreciated after long day of travelling. The room is as advertised, compact but adequate for a night. Perhaps if you had large luggage you may disagree but with 2 carry-ons and 2 back packs my daughter and I were fine together in the room.

A lovely room with a nice view overlooking the river. We got an outdoor private bath in the balcony of the room and enjoyed the experience. The hotel is located next to an unagi restaurant which is the best ever! Along the streets there are also nice joints for yakitori or izzakaya. And we were delighted to be able to head straight out from the lobby for a walk along the river to enjoy sunset. Their breakfast set was also delicious. Free and easy parking at the hotel was great too!

Quiet, near to Aeon supermarket and restaurant, with spacious parking lot. Excellent breakfast, the hotel also provides coin laundry, and our family had a good sleep and rest. We would definitely to stay here again next time to enjoy great accomodation.

Staff were welcoming and professional, rooms were clean and very comfortable, WiFi was stable and efficient, onsen was great, location was excellent with plenty of free parking and easy access to shops - huge drugstore nearby!

There are free parking and onsen. Room is small but very nice for me. There are many restaurants around hotel and near to Hita Station.

Small hotel with plenty free parking spaces ; very nice and helpful staffers trying best to answer/assist in what we asked for. Near many restaurants and not far from the old-town Hita.
