We had our own little house to herself. I wish we had known that we could cook. We would’ve brought heaps with us because we had our own kitchen. The views were outstanding. We were shocked when we arrived. It is definitely out of the way but for us who were doing the 88 temples driving was perfect wouldn’t suggest this for someone who was walking. The bath and shower facilities were out of this world.

Love the size of the rooms. We could open two mid size luggages. Room comes with a little balcony, lovely to sit and enjoy the view of the dam. There is also a wash basin in the room. Very practical. Shared bath is also being scrubbed daily. Staff are kind and helpful. Thank you reception staff for receiving us so late and providing late dinner, we didn’t expect it but it was very kind of him. Thank you.

This is a true Japanese experience. The hotel is an authentic, traditional spa resort, with old fashioned vibes, where you have to take off your shoes at the entrance of the hotel. Here you can enjoy the company of Japanese people, experience kindness and friendliness of the staff, have excellent food, and soak in the great atmosphere and surroundings of beautiful mountains. I loved the onsen with it's great variety of indoor and outdoor baths. Everything was easy and comfortable, there were free toiletries, water, snacks and fresh yukata everyday. Our room was spacious and very clean. No noise outside was a bonus. The receptionist and restaurant staff were so lovely, welcoming and attentive. Thank you for making our holiday in Shikoku so enjoyable ❤️

Convenient place to reach temple 45 on Ohenro. The room are confortable. The staff was great, nice and very helpful. They also speak good English. Food is a Japanese style, traditionnal, really good and the onsen is relaxing. They also keep my backpack while I went to the temple.
