Wounderful homestay experience! The couple running the place are warm and welcoming. We had tea and fruits from the garden and chatted like visiting relatives after a long time. We really loved the cats and fossil collection. We got great recommendations for dinner and traveling around. We can't thank you enough!

Fantastic, homely place to stay. Fully equipped ‘house’, extremely clean and well presented and very comfortable. Best of all is the host, Megumi, who was super friendly, personable and helpful with local information. I was travelling solo but this would be a great place for a small group or family to stay. The house is so cute and is at such a nice location. Hosts were so friendly and helpful, such lovely people. Is an awesome experience being in this 120 year old house and we all slept so well on the futon beds. Highly recommend. We will be back if we visit Japan again in the future :)

The interior's clean and beautiful, I was so impressed that despite having an extremely long journey to get to Mima City, I still found myself run around the place to take photos. In addition to that, the staff here were extremely helpful and attentive. They helped me with everything, from arranging and communicating with the taxi driver, providing breakfast even when I check out early, giving advices about places that I want to visit to helping me with the booking of new flight ticket when my flight got cancelled out of nowhere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
