Had a fantastic time staying at TAMAKIYA. It is beautiful, spacious and well-appointed accommodation. Was perfect for my family. It was immaculately clean. Thir house has both a western style and beautiful Japanese style room. You can see Mt Fuji from the rear tatami mat room which was a thrill. Downstairs is a lively bathroom as well as washer and dryer. The location is fabulous, just metres from a great variety of restaurants and right next door to DAISO! Value for moneu is excellent. In addition, i was impressed by the kindness of the host who had all the heaters going on for us prior to our arrival. Just loved it and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this property to anyone who would prefer staying in a house to a hotel room.

The room with private bath and a view is breath taking! Breakfast is superb! Facilities are amazing and the staff is so cordial and helpful. Taiko show every night is awesome. We love this place so much we feel so reluctant to leave. The house is better than the pictures shown, is authentic with modern touch, huge, clean, kitchen is well equipped and has everything we needed for a comfortable 2 night stay.. Location is just next to Yoshiikeonsen station, we cycled using the free bikes provided to nearby supermarket Ogino which has very complete selection of products at reasonable price. We also cycled to Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, the view from top is just picture perfect. We saw Mt Fuji just outside the house on a clear day. Will come back again.

It’s an fantastic place if you want to stay close to Mt. Fuji. You have an amazing view from the balcony, bath tub and one bedroom. It’s close to the train station and the host was very kind and super helpful. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend this place. It even has a cozy kotatsu!
