Yuko, the proprietor, took such good care of me and made sure I was always comfortable. She also arranged for me to make some pottery and for one of her friends to take me to the top of the nearby Mount Karakuni, trekking past active, smoking volcanoes! From the top it's possible to see Mount Shinmoedake, the volcano from the James Bond film 'You Only Live Twice'!! We also had an impromptu karaoke session with some of her friends! A fabulous couple of days in a spectacularly gorgeous part of the World with a wonderful host!

Very comfortable and clean room, I could watch TV very comfortably. The blanket was also rather comfy. There was a free meal as well, a pleasant surprise

The location is convenient to go any place. The owners are kind and friendly, offering to lend a bike for me which helped a lot! make my time here much easier. Shared toilet and bathroom, but by the time here I pretty much didn't share with anyone lol. The room has traditional japanese style, and it's tidy, so much bigger than normal hotel, like here a lot!

I loved the comfortable bed. The hotel staff was very kind and friendly but hardly could speak English, so the communication was difficult.

Friendly guy at check-in offered us an upgrade from shared dorm room to private apartment upstairs, because we arrived earlier than expected as the Ebino plateau was closed due to snow. The apartment was fantastic, very cosy with lots of facilities including full kitchen with cooking oil, seasoning, crockery and cutlery. Also heated chair in the living room and comfortable mattresses on the beds. Parking right outside the building. Supermarket just 2 minutes walk away and a Lawson next door. Overall a great stay and we wish we could have stayed for longer.

We were six friends trekking in Kyushu volcanos and needed a place near Mt. Karakuni. The hotel was excellent, convenient nice food and good location.
