everything was perfect: location, apartment, cleanliness, well fitted out and comfy beds. Very warm welcome and clear directions & instructions how to get into the apartment by the owner. Mauro even prepared a tasty surprise for us. All restaurants, shops and the beautiful sights of Ortigia were a few minutes walk away and free parking around the corner.

Our stay at this location exceeded every expectation. Our host Stefano would greet us each morning on the terrace overlooking the ocean. His family served us a wonderful breakfast. The care taken to every detail was fantastic. Stefano arranged taxis and dinner reservations without our even asking. The dedication to this lovely accommodation by Stefano and his family is something we will never forget. It was a highlight in our travels and we hope to return someday.

The hotel is very well located close to the basilica. The receptionnist explained everything that we could visit right when we arrived, which was of great help. She gave us very good recommendations. We were also able to enter the room early. The room was very clean and huge. There was everything that you need. There was also a lot of choice for the breakfast. All in all, we were sad to only stay one night there. We will for sure come back!

Amazing boutique hotel. Great staff, especially Sandro at the reception. The decor, the furnishings, everything oozes class. Owned by a wonderful family who were there during our stay. Location is terrific, just hop across for a swim in crystal clear water.

I had a truly amazing 4-night stay in this apartment. The photos don’t quite capture how bright, airy, functional, and cozy the space really is. The quality of the materials used is evident, and you can feel the attention to detail in everything—from the kitchenware to the toiletries, towels, and bed linens. It really felt like a home away from home, only better. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, but on a quiet street. The bridge to Ortigia is just a stone's throw away, and many of the top sights, like Neapolis, Santuario della Madonna delle Lacrime, Basílica de Santa Lucía del Sepulcro, where the famous Caravaggio painting is exhibited, and the square where the same painting themed graffiti can be seen, are all very close. I walked everywhere, which made it so convenient. Plus, there's a large supermarket (Deco) and a great shop for pre-cooked meals (Profumo di pollo) nearby. Rosanna, the owner, is a kind and helpful host. She gave great advice on where to eat and was a pleasure to communicate with. I look forward to hopefully returning someday!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa. Beautiful garden with an amazing pool area. The wellness area inside was very nice too, with hot saunas and a pool with cool water. The villa is well kept and the hosts are friendly and helpful. The room had smart TV with ps5 and Netflix. In the evenings the Netflix account was used by too many people, to it's good to bring your own credentials to be able to watch. The breakfast served at a cafe was good and felt very Italian (sweet bread and coffee).

Our stay at Fortaleza in Syracuse was absolutely wonderful. The apartment is in a top location, just a short walk from Ortigia Island—practically crossing the bridge. Franceso, our host, was hands down one of the best hosts we’ve ever encountered. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home and comfortable, providing excellent recommendations on where to go and what to see. The apartment itself was super clean, modernly furnished with great taste, and had all the amenities we needed. I can’t recommend this apartment enough. It made our visit to Syracuse unforgettable, and we look forward to returning in the future.
