The setting is incredible, the attention to detail and the exceptional level of customer service made this one of our favorite stays. The rooms are well appointed and quite comfortable. Fabulous wine and olive oil growing right here!! Amazing and fresh daily breakfast and the treat was the dinner that was prepared and served that we chose to attend. Friendly, helpful, caring generous hostess. Very clean apartment. Great night's sleep on the very comfortable bed. Everything worked: electric plugs, WiFi, the kitchen. The most well equipped clean place that we have stayed in our 3 weeks, ( lower budget travellers) in Sicily so far. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best hotel I have stayed with my family.The hotel manager Marco is too much friendly & helpfull.We have arrived to the hotel very late but about one hour ago Marco called us when we were on the way for keeping the kitchen open if we were hungry.We didn't live that gentle thought ever.The rooms of Masseria Del Carboj are very large, well equipped, very clean, well decorated.This is the most peaceful place in the heart of among the vineyards and olive trees.Especially the pastry in the breakfast is so delicious.Also while leaving do not forget to buy very rare extra virgin olive oil (Oro Colato) from the hotel.

Francisco, Filippo's chef, is exceptional for so small a venue. He varied our menu (3 nights) and asked for our preferences. The Testa family has owned this property from the 16th century and Filippo's love for the land is apparent. Hilly, picturesque views everywhere. Home vinted wines and olive oil. We recommend Tarantola to travelers seeking a farmstay experience. And the owner could not be more suited to his vocation.
