We loved our stay at Albergo Belvedere! We came to the mountains trying to escape the heat and we couldn't have been more happy to end up in this hotel. The best of all, the staff, who were absolutely wonderful. Luigi and Luisa are super nice and welcoming. It felt a little bit like visiting the Italian family we don't have. And the village and it's surroundings are stunning. 10/10, especially if you get to taste Luigi's grappa and Lisa's jam! We'll be back!

The genuine hospitality of Roberto was outstanding. Breakfast was gorgeous with freshly brewed coffee, and a copious selection of baked goods, fresh fruits and the obligatory fresh yoghurt. The space was delightfully decorated in simple, clean decor in a relaxed environment. The highlight was of course the view!!! Stunning doesn’t even cover it. Absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend to those wanting to experience the beauty of the region without the maddening crowds. Short distance to hubs like Moneglia and Sestri Levante which we really enjoyed. Get there at your earliest opportunity!

The appartment was wel equipped, clean, full of charm and with comfort provided. Not to forget her sympathetic husband who was within 5 minutes present to solve a technical problem. The apartment is large and very clean, very good furniture. In the kitchen there was everything needed, including moka pot and dishwasher. There was also washing machine. The place has large private terrace with wonderful panoramic view and parking place in front of the house. All windows are equipped with mosquito net. Location: 50 minutes drive from Portofino, in the middle of the mountains. This place is a medieval village with stone houses, clean air: very quite and peaceful. My kids loved to play outside in the narrows streets of the city (there are no cars) and explore them with hosts’ kids of the same age:) The host & his family: are very welcoming and charming! Lorenzo contacted us before we arrived to precise the time of arrival. He helped us with luggage, offered a glass of home made wine… He suggested as a restaurant nearby (A Ca’ della Nonna) for dinner, which was spettacolare! In the morning he prepared a delicious breakfast! Rooms: we traveled with grandma our 2 kids, so we booked 2 rooms - a 1 bedroom apartment and the 2nd one practically was a house! My mom stayed in the house, which reminded her her childhood - a house in a village with wooden flours, furniture, oven, etc. Everything here is made as it was probably 100 years ago (with some modern staff like a bathroom, pallets oven, a fridge, electric lights, etc, of course). So she felt immediately “like home” and slept very well:) Breakfast: very delicious and with both sweet and salty choice. Kids loved bread with marmalade and home made cakes. We loved everything! This place is unique! It is not only the Medieval house in a village: is it an EXPERIENCE of time travel! We do recommend to come at least for a day!

Everything was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. There was secure parking at the rear of the property. There was a choice of eateries within easy walking distance. The breakfast was excellent, including home grown and home baked products. The hosts were very welcoming; we wished we could have stayed longer.
