Was a pleasant surprise arriving at castelvecchio on the countryside. We only stopped as a pitstop from airport to Florence as we landed late, however we wished we had been able to stay longer as lovely views and comfortable house. The lady was also very accommodating. Enjoyed our stay.

The B&B is located in a very calm surrounding on a hill. The owner spontaneously cooked a very delicious dinner for us, since we had a problem with one of our bikes on our way uphill and were unable to drive to a restaurant for dinner. However, you should tell her in advance that you would like to have dinner there so she can prepare for this. Also the breakfast was amazing and the host herself was one of the nicest we ever had. The whole building is furnished and decorated with so much love and detail. I would definitely recommend a stay, if you like good food and antique furniture.

Where do I start? The property was beautiful, and the owner and his wife were incredibly friendly and laid-back, which made us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious—typically Italian and a refreshing change from the standard UK offering.The location is great, with easy driving access to various attractions. The drive to the property itself offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and countryside.Our room was spacious and spotless, and the bathroom was modern, clean, and fully equipped. On-site parking was available under the shade of the trees, conveniently located right next to the accommodation.We even received a short history of the place, and I enjoyed learning a bit about the owner and his two sons. The setting was ideal for our toddler, Jonathan, who spent most of his time happily playing outside and bonding with the resident cat.

Alex and Sonia are lovely. Very friendly and helpful. The room was amazing it had everything that was needed - fan, a window with fly wires, a kettle and mugs, a fridge. The bathroom was excellent. The dinner was very good especially the tortellini and breakfast was also excellent with lots of home made jams on offer to go with the various bread and cheese options. We wished we were staying longer.
