This was such a beautiful wholesome stay! We were welcomed by the hosts and made to feel at home. The breakfast and coffee was great! Not a negative, however, should note that if you don't have a car it's a 30minute shuttle up and down in the local shuttle bus. It can be quite crowded at the end of the day so not always guaranteed to get a seat. Purchase tickets prior to getting on at the train station to save you money! Easy to access the beautiful local hikes once you get your bearings!

The location was beautiful and the breakfast included the best coffee on our holiday, made by a wonderful barista! It was lovely to sit under the shade of trees and be served delicious croissants, fruit juice and fresh fruit. A nice surprise was the blues music playing in the bar/café, the helpful and friendly owners being huge fans! Also we were very happy to find the fish restaurant in the basement served fabulous food and the service was very friendly and efficient. It’s a place we would love to revisit!

We simply loved everything about B&B La Volpe! Such a great decision to stay there. Amazing view from the top of the hill, everything in the accomodation feels new, is very clean and comfortable. Roberto is such a great host which makes this place even more spectacular. The breakfast was very tasty as well. We could stay only night unfortunately but we we would love to come back again!

Great base to visit Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca, Carrara marble mountains, Portofino, etc! Its a new build with modern facilities and a great balcony with fabulous views. We had the top floor room which was huge with a TV lounge and small kitchenette (there was an apartment downstairs with full kitchen). Veronica was a fabulous hostess, she helped us heaps with our daily planning and English was excellent. We also enjoyed meeting her Mum. Breakfast was 5* and plentiful!
