Great hotel and restaurant. Absolutely love how it looks run-down from the outside, but when you step in, it’s warm, cosy and very inviting. Interior is great in the restaurant, bar and rooms. Great staff too! Definitely try their Icelandic Lamb Soup that comes with Sourdough and Date butter, the butter is heavenly 👌🏽 And how lovely, they packed a brekky to go, in the morning for us ❤️ Shared kitchen had a big fridge, hot water, tea and coffee available.

We really enjoyed the calmness of pure nature and the Chalet which was not only bigger than all the other cottages in that area but also offered more than enough tools to feel at home within a few minutes. The host family is the cherry on top! Really welcoming and assist you in every way possible. You gotta try the fresh mountain tab water- better than Fiji or Voss! ;)
