It was tiny, but all facilities were well equipped. The guest’s book inside the cottage was quite funny. If there was having aurora light, this location would be a good spot. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any at last.

Kitchenette was great. The cabin was very clean. Enjoyed a nice walk to the beach. We were able to stay an extra night because Highway 1 was closed due to high winds.

The house we stayed in was very authentic. It was our fourth day in Iceland and the fourth guest house we stayed in. Considering we have enough guest house experience, it was the best house we stayed in Iceland. The hosts were very kind and understanding. Before we arrived home, they provided us with the necessary information very clearly and helped us. After we reached the house, they gave us information about the environment. We had minimal communication with the hosts of the houses we stayed in before. The owners of this house welcomed us as if we were their friends. There were some surprises waiting for us at home. We had the opportunity to see the farm and animals closely. Meanwhile, we found answers to some of our questions about life in Iceland. In addition, the house was very clean and the guest groups staying in the house had separate bathrooms. The location of the house made us happy because it was very close to the beach. It was also quiet because it was in an isolated area. Many thanks again to the hosts.

Beautifull place, very nice guest that recollect us int he middle of the dark road because we cannot find the house. Coffe available (very good quality capsules, not the terribel soluble dust we found in other placese). Living room very well equipped to relax after a day outside.

Great location on the hill above Vik village; where you can experience the real Iceland, on one side looking at the Atlantic, on the other side at the volcanic hill (or glacier) I'm not sure); continental breakfast, the selection is satisfactory, but don't expect a large selection of food, but enough to eat well. There was no gluten-free food, but I believe that the hotel can take care of that as well. On the reception there is even a samll area to buy basic comsmetic goods :-) Rooms comfortable, warm, clean, there is all you need! We took two rooms , due there is no family rooms if you travel with kids.

Loved our stay in this spacious cottage with views from every window. Good cooking facilities, fridge, easy parking next to cottage. Went horse riding with Alana onto black sand beach, heading directly for Dyrholaey. It was truly a highlight of our stay. Book thru Mid Hvoll. Would stay again.

The cottage was very nice and the staff were very welcoming. It was clean and comfortable, The kitchen and cooking facilities were great as there isn't anywhere close to eat and it has a decent size table with chairs. The location is close to Reynisfjara and Vík which is why we stayed here and there was a parking space next to each cottage. Also, the dogs were very friendly.

Cute and comfortable cottages, beautiful scenery. The location is great: about 10 minutes away from a airplane wreckage parking, 15 minutes away from Dyrholaey, Vik town with groceries and gas station is 20 min away. They have sheep, and two really nice dogs with whom we played together. Very nice stop on our round trip.

Perfect location on a farm with ponies and two friendly dogs, with direct access to the 'Endless Black beach' which we had completely to ourselves. The accommodation was excellent with everything we needed for a comfortable stay for independent travellers. Parking was right next to the 'cottage'. It's located close to Vik, Reynisfjara Beach and several iconic waterfalls making it ideal for anyone travelling on the south coast ring road. We wished we could stay longer as it's the perfect place to slow down and chill out.
