The location was lovely - very gorgeous wee town, and a spectacular drive into the valley. The area around the apartment felt very safe, and, had it not been pouring with rain, would have been lovely to walk around. The old school house was beautifully appointed, super clean, and was a really good size. We appreciated the washing machine. The reception area was in the nearby bar/restaurant which we didn't eat at, but it looked really nice.

We got trapped in the town during a snow storm and we booked the place last minute. The host was as nice and helpful as it gets! She upgraded our room to the one with balcony, as some guests didn’t arrive due to the road closure and she let us stay longer while waiting for a passage through the mountains. The room was beautiful, big, clean and cozy! We loved the view and the bathroom. Even the soap in the bathroom was special, the details were just amazing. If all guesthouses would be on this level, the world would be a nicer place. We will come back!

The perfect stay in the most picturesque town. Every aspect of this house is so thoughtful and cozy. Big kitchen and big comfy beds. I only felt sad because we should have booked this stay for a bit longer than 1N. The owners are kind and quick to help. Even alerted us for aurora sightings!

Very cute room, the bed is probably the most comfortable bed we slept in on our vacation in Iceland. The room is not huge so don’t bring too much luggage up to the room! The owner is very friendly & is available to help.

It's a very comfortable and beautiful place. There's all of the amenities we can possibly need. The host was a delight as well, very nice, helpful and comprehensive. Heated floor in the main entrance, café machines and drying and washing machines also available. It was a really a modern house with a comfy outlook. Comfortable beds and big nice dining table.
