Wonderful hotel, we had an WiFi problem in our first room, the manager, Inga, went out of her way to help us, and solved the problem, she is an amazing manager. That makes all the difference. Restaurant-Amazing!!! Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at several places around Iceland for a similar price, but nothing came close to the experience we had at this guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They personally showed us to our room, which was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. We were amazed at how many extras were included: we received bath robes, we could do our laundry, make tea and waffles, enjoy homemade rhubarb jam straight from their garden, and even wash our car! On top of that, the relaxing sauna and hot tub made it the perfect end to the day of exploring. This place truly felt like a home away from home, and the warmth and generosity of the hosts made a lasting impression. We’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family – and we hope to return ourselves someday!

We really enjoyed the calmness of pure nature and the Chalet which was not only bigger than all the other cottages in that area but also offered more than enough tools to feel at home within a few minutes. The host family is the cherry on top! Really welcoming and assist you in every way possible. You gotta try the fresh mountain tab water- better than Fiji or Voss! ;)
