Beautiful and wellmaintained houseboat - elegant and simple interior. Service onboard was impeccable and the freshly prepared meals were all delicious. From the grilled spotted tailfish to the banana-curry, tasty salads and chilimarinated kingprawns to the freshly squeezed pineapple juice we had for breakfast along with our perfectly cooked masala-omellettes, ricenoodles and coconut vegetables plus lots of fresh fruit. The smiling and discrere staff made us feel at home from the moment we entered the boat and one of them told us some interesting facts about the backwaters. The scenery at Aleppey backwaters is out of this world and getting to take it all in onboard a small private houseboat driven by a very professional team was a once in a lifetime experience for me and my parents.

Beautiful hotel right on the lake with lovely gardens and a large swimming pool. We were upgraded to a private pool villa which was spacious, clean and quiet despite renovation work nearby. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly especially Chinnu. The restaurant served a great buffet breakfast and dinner there was delicious! The hotel provided afternoon tea with snacks which we loved. We enjoyed the village walk with Amil who was friendly and informative.
