I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kondai Lip Heritage Resort, and I cannot speak highly enough about my experience as a solo woman traveler. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe and welcomed, which is essential for anyone traveling alone. The service at this resort is impeccable. The staff, including the boatman who greeted me upon arrival, were genuinely hospitable and attentive. The reception team made check-in effortless, and their warm smiles made me feel right at home. I also want to extend my gratitude to the accounting staff, who went above and beyond to assist me with my saree when I needed help. Their kindness and readiness to assist made all the difference. I also appreciated the janitorial staff, who maintained the premises impeccably and were always approachable if I had any questions or needed anything. Their attention to cleanliness and detail added to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the resort. The food at Kondai Lip Heritage Resort was outstanding! The chefs provided a delightful array of options, and I was pleasantly surprised by how frequently the staff would call my room to check if I needed to order dinner. The room is beautiful and clean with private outside space, the location is quiet (waking up with the sound of birds) and the surroundings are simply stunning (we came by bicycle from Kochin and enjoyed every minute of cycling around), communication with the owner is very pleasant, the host made us feel really welcome and at home. Risk warning: there is a chance of gaining weight, as the food is superb (and much).

We had a wonderful stay in Vaikom! The flat was excellent, spacious, super clean and very comfortable. The house itself is very nicely located nearby the water, one has a very nice view from the balcony. The hosts are very friendly, warm and extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious!
