The room is beautiful and clean with private outside space, the location is quiet (waking up with the sound of birds) and the surroundings are simply stunning (we came by bicycle from Kochin and enjoyed every minute of cycling around), communication with the owner is very pleasant, the host made us feel really welcome and at home. Risk warning: there is a chance of gaining weight, as the food is superb (and much).

Their genuine affection towards their guests and eagerness to give the best local experience. The warm hospitality is commendable. Their villa on the riverside backwaters is awesome. The boat ride fetching us from the villa directly is so convenient. The local Kerala cuisine prepared by Mrs Joan is mouth watering. The early morning and evenings spent at this homestay are truly lifetime memories. We carried back lots of nutmugs from their garden, pure coconut oil gifted by Mrs and Mrs Joseph and ofcourse life time memories. God bless this beautiful couple abundantly !

The homestay is nestled in a serene and lush green setting, perfect for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged with traditional touches that reflect the essence of Kerala. A special mention must go to Surendran, Rathi, and the rest of the staff, who were incredibly courteous and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was arranging local experiences, serving delicious homemade meals, or simply engaging in warm conversation, they made every moment memorable. The family that run its are unbelievable and so hospitable.. They have you organised from just helping books taxis or any sporting event (we kayaked and did a shikari boat), their is a traditional home cooled breakfast everyone morning you cannot help but look forward to, the family even took the time on our last day and AAT with us on common area discussing the life around the area!
