It was a wonderful stay! The host, Mr. George Chettan, is an awesome and lovely person — very warm and welcoming. The highlight of this place is its proximity to Swargamedu. You can go on a short hike to Swargamedu directly from the property, which is a great experience. The stay itself was clean and well-maintained. Our stay at THE PLANET was exceptional.. We reached the property at night and in the morning we woke up with an amazing view of luscious tea plantation .. Staffs were friendly. They have arranged jeep for kollukkumalai sunrise .The total cost for kollukkumalai jeep safari is INR 3500.00 ..However we (me n my husband) paid only INR 1400 as we shared with other guests (Total of 5 )..They also guided us to the nearby sights like 1800 m zipline , 600 m zipline and Elephant Abode dam.. They have also arranged evening trekking to phantom hills to view sunset which is complimentary Food was delicious and worth the money ...We as a couple spend only INR 900 for each meal (lunch /dinner , breakfast is complimentary).. If you want an escape from the city life and indulge yourself in the tranquility of nature , this property is definitely recommended

I planned our trip to Kerala around the availability of this property and it exceeded our expectations. The property is large, spacious and beautifully furnished. The views across the valley are stunning and the birdsong in the early morning is wonderful. The housekeeping staff are great and the chef will prepare the most delicious food. This is a very special property for those who prefer to stay a little out of town. Absolutely fantastic stay.
