The rooms were kept neat and tidy and spacious good enough for 6 of us including a child bathrooms were hygienic and well maintained with 24 hours water availability. The home stay is spacious with three bed rooms a couple of them air conditioned and one of them not with A/C . Kitchen was well equipped but for a gas stove or electric stove and will be available soon as per the host . The home stay will be more efficient if equipped with an RO water purifier. The host and their family were very friendly and caring and were supportive .

Karun is a great host who goes above and beyond for his guests. He even kept me company as I was the only guest at the moment, so I would not feel alone! The location is nice, close to the train station, small grocery shops and a restaurant. The bed was very comfortable. While I only stayed one night, I would definitely come back.

Lovely family, very friendly, and made a special effort to celebrate Christmas Day with us. Also made a huge effort to get us fishing when their friends’ plan changed and he couldn’t take us - they went to many shops to buy hooks, and made rods out of wood - it was amazing fun and they really made us get the most out of Munroe island.

I had an unforgettable stay on Munroe Island! Appu, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive—he truly made all my wishes come true. He organized everything for me, from kayaking through the peaceful backwaters to exploring the island by bicycle, and he even cooked delicious meals just for me. Everything was perfect. There are two rooms available and a shared kitchen which are all new. Everything is as per the photos. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast available is delicious, as are the dinners cooked by Sujilal’s wife. You can organise all trips through Sujilal, as well as onward travel. This is the perfect place to stay whilst in Munroe Island.
