A fantastic family alltogether which makes you feel at home. If we arrived to India in New Delhi and later went to Jaipur, we only had the feeling to really enter India with the Jangid Family. Rajesh and his son Tushar didn't spare a minute to show us the rural life style of Shekhawati, to open the doors of the most beautiful havelis and hidden sites in the area. The cooking classes in the evening where just the "cherry on the top" granting a glimpse at the succulent indian cuisine with all the spices and flavours. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a inside view of India !

The place is charming. We loved everything about the place - the courtyard with bougainvillea, the cozy dining room, the vegetable patches. the food , the hospitality and the advice given to us. The design of the rooms is lovely. It uses local handicrafts - I especially liked the embroidery , and our daughter liked the window niche where all her toys could sleep. You can feel it is done with love and attention to detail. The shower had really hot water. Everything, of course, is impeccably clean. The food is great. The milk products come from their own cow and many veggies come from their garden. Given the fact that the food is vegetarian, the variety is amazing. It tastes great - real Indian homemade food! You even feel a little bit like part of the family. Gajendra arranged a great guide for us to show the havelis. - the reason for our coming. We took a camel card to drive through the surrounding fields. Do not miss a cooking class! I was hesitating at the beginning as I took so many cooking classes already. Luckily, our daughter insisted. It might be the best cooking class I ever took. Gajendra and Gayatri showed us everything - the techniques, the old and new kitchen appliances, the local plants and, of course, many spices. For example ghee was shown from the milk (from their cow) stage through curd stage to butter stage. Some recipes were that local that it is difficult to translate the names of the ingredients. It was a highlight of our trip. And it was amazingly tasty. It was unforgettable. All in all we had amazing time. Would happily stay a bit longer.

The set up and design of the place

Very smart property, lovely well laid out bathroom, bedroom and mezzanine (very nice touch), staff go above and beyond.

You are taken with awe and wonder as soon as you step into the hotel. Created by the confluence of two adjacent havelis, this hotel is a treat to your senses. Extremely comfortable and spacious rooms, beautifully maintained patios, courtyards and pool, wonderful hospitality and delicious food! We had the fortune to meet the owner Mr. Atul Khanna, who gracefully gave us a knowhow of Mandawa and the rest of Shekhawati region, arranged for a guide for us and even gave complementary dessert! One should take the short tour of the haveli itself that so beautifully and soulfully recites the story of Vivaana. Must recommended for anyone who is visiting Mandawa.

True Rajasthani hospitality - cordial hosts, attentive and responsive. Excellent food, subtle spicing, very fresh and sattvik. Note there are no TVs or WiFi in the rooms, which is just fine for a certain type of traveller. Enormous yet cosy rooms, very clean and all with an ethnic Rajasthani flair. I am grateful that the lady of the house cooked extras for me, thank you. Anyone travelling between Delhi and Bikaner or Jaipur would do well to stop here for 2 nights.
