I booked for a week and stayed for 2 weeks. From the moment that they picked me up from the train station after midnight and we cruised through the Fort late at night, cobblestone streets, the sandstone walls standing tall as though to welcome me home. A welcome chai, even when late, Haleem and Bhanu are always looking out for you! The vibe is super chilled and friendly and in my time there I met some amazing people from all over the globe! Something about their warmth that seems to attract great people. They’ll help you to organise everything you need including time in the desert. And what I loved most, is that they will organise it to suit what your own unique needs are! Feels like home💚 Food is fantastic .. both Indian and western style A fabulous roof top to hang out on Enjoy! Love love Jasailner

Upon arriving we were met with warm greetings from Hasim and the staff. While helping us plan our trip in Jaiselmer, we were provided complementary chai. Hasim organise, a camel trip for us. We were even allowed to pick which room we wanted to stay in, which had a beautiful view of the city and the fort. The hotel had all the ammenities required to make it a wonderful stay. The staff were very accomodating and the food we ate at there was nice and affordable. The arrangements made for the trips around the city highlighted the non touristy but definitely more worthwhile spots around the city. The guide who drove us to the sand dunes, who along with the cameleer Durga Singh, were excellent. We had a great experience sleeping under the stars, and had the most delicious food prepared on an open fire by the the pair, we cannot recommend them enough. Hasim was the most gracious and helpful host, and we only have great things to say about his boutique hotel. Would 100% recommend this place and the tourist activities they facilitate.

Customer Service was excellent from the point of booking. The manager made contact and made us aware of services the hotel offers. He even met us at the station at 3am when our train was delayed! The hotel is modern, new and very clean. Room was large and well decorated with a large bathroom and good hot water shower. Bed was comfy. Location is great, less than 5 minutes walk to the main gate of the old city. Also has a nice rooftop restaurant. The hotel arranged our camel safari which was excellent. From start to finish we couldn’t fault anything and stayed here twice during our trip. The staff take a pride in the hotel and delivering superb service to guests. As far as I could see, Hotel Shahiraj Jaisalmer is the best choice for a hotel in Jaisalmer.

Everything…. when we arrived at the train Station, the extensive works made the whole area a dusty mess and this extends out into the streets. The approach to the area of Jasmin is the same and we were thinking omg this is going to be tough ( we are well travelled in India ) but … The Jasmin is lovely …the staff waited up until 02:30am for us and showed us straight to beautifully decorated room with the all the lovely lighting set up and the room had been heated perfectly…they didn’t even ask us to check in …..just relax and have a good sleep. In the morning was no different, very relaxed check-in and breakfast was attentive and a perfect choice ( don’t be afraid to go room only and have a la carte breakfast its a good choice and very cheap, our total food bil for three breakfasts and one dinner and one lunch ( for two people ) was £34 The owner is very attentive and proud using family and friends for staff, also recommends a guide for the town heritage walk and he organises desert safari’s ( it’s not usually our thing but we did both and thoroughly enjoyed it. I get the comment someone made re bird droppings upstairs on the terrace but ignore this, it doesn’t spoil anything. If you’re on a budget don’t shy from the basic room, we had that without realising it was his cheapest room and it’s really nice. We looked at the others and all well priced and individual.

The stuff is very helpful and understanding, you can share with them your wishes and they will tell you the best way to do it. Go to the desert for a night to see the stars - it's increadible. Restaurant in the guesthouse is also very good. I loved everything about the place.

It was a nice stay for me, I enjoyed the guest house and the behaviour or staffs. The most thing I liked is the atmosphere and location was very exelent. It was just walking distance from the famous Golden fort. I enjoyed the view of this fort direct from my guest house terrace. I spent a long time on the sitting area on the terrace at the morning. View was worthfull. Also I enjoyed dilitious foods.price was also affordable.

We had such a wonderful stay desert safari From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and traditional hospitality. The camel safari into the dunes was breathtaking, and the jeep ride gave us thrilling views of the desert. In the evening, we enjoy campfire under the stars unforgettable experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained. Food was authentic and very tasty. What impressed us most was the care and personal attention from the staff. This is not just a hotel stay, but a complete desert experience. Highly recommended!

Great customer service, very helpful staff. The location is right next to the fort and has free parking. Great view of the fort from the room. Very comfortable stay.

Facing Jaisalmer Fort walls, with a small garden at its front, Moustache Jaisalmer is just a 10 minute walk from the fort entrance. The area is quite noisy during the day, as the main parking area for the fort is just over the road, but is very quiet at night. The bed was comfortable enough, the shower was adequate, and the wifi worked OK. This is a good value place to stay in Jaisalmer.

Property is fine but far from the centre. Its in the fort if you really want to stay in fort than this haveli is ok. But if you are driving by car its tough to manage because you have to park your car on fort parking which is far from the property. You have to take auto to reach this place. One positive sided of this property is that you will be nearby the patwo ki haveli, fort and jain temples.
