The hotel had opened on the day i stayed! The staff were amazing and so accomodating. Staying in a brand new room felt fun and if there were any issues (just due to it being just opened), the staff were sure to sort them out immediately! I felt like the most special guest in the hotel and this was appreciated.

Loved to location in a small village close to the airport, so much better than staying in a hotel. The large apartment was light and airy and comfortable. The hosts Sunil and Juby were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They sorted out lunch and even offered to drive us to a restaurant in the evening. We stayed local and ate opposite the apartment which was great. They arranged a taxi to the airport which was around a 15 minute drive. A perfect end to our holiday in India.

Fantastic hostel! The owner is the nicest guy ever, he will do his best to make your stay very comfortable. There is information about tours and performances in the hostel, kitchen, fridge, laundry, everything you need for a comfortable stay. I arrived very early from a night bus and he allowed me to take the bed early and sleep which was very kind of him. I VERY much recommend this hostel. Thank you for everything!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Artiste Hotel in Kochi! The staff were incredibly friendly and always went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The location is perfect — we had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the beautiful backwaters. It was so convenient having the PVR cinema and Forum Mall right next door — we watched a movie every evening and enjoyed shopping and great food. The dishes at both Meen and Artiste Restaurant were delicious, and even the food court in the mall was great for a quick bite. Everything was perfect — we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kochi!

Stayed here on my last night of my amazing Kerala holiday as it was close to the airport. Arrived by train when it was getting dark so by the time I got a Tuk Tuk driver that spoke English and had a rough idea where the Homestay was I was fairly stressed by the time I finally arrived. But the owner was so calm and helpful I quickly calmed down. He showed me where the kettle was. Told me where a nearby chemist was and even order my takeout dinner on his app and just added it onto my room bill as I had no cash at the time.

The decor is superb! The rooms are spacious and confortable. The staff looks so nicely after the guests. Great value for the price. Especially considering the lovely swimming pool and the huge delicious complimentary breakfast. The hotel also organises nice heritage walk tours to learn more about the history of Fort Cochin. The location is ideal too, within walking distance of most landmarks (Chinese fishing nets, beach, colonial houses, churches,…) and close to various shops and restaurants. In a nutshell: this is perfection! Do not miss this out if you plan to stay in Fort Cochin.
