My stay at paddy n canal was the highlight of my Kerala trip. What makes this place truly special is its location. It’s perfectly sandwiched between a tranquil canal in the front and endless emerald paddy fields in the back. A perfect time on the boat. Extremely relaxing moment with a great team. The communication before with the manager was super easy. The boat and rooms are very clean and the beds are comfy. We had excellent meals from the cook and the captain was very nice as well. Very chill moment where we were able to see the everyday life of Indian citizens living in the backwaters.

It had a tropical rustic feel to it. It is a home stay model, so there is a few villas on one property. The food was home cooked food rather than “restaurant” food which I really enjoyed. The property is literally on the river bank so has an excellent location. There is an option for a 3 hour boat ride from the property or kayaking, they can also arrange airport pick up and drop off.
