We were driving from Dublin and booked on our way. It was a last minute booking. Everything was so exceptional and amazing. I ven though we arrived late the host was super prepared and organised so we did not have any problems. Pet friendly and child friendly property. Our daughter was super happy when she found the cupboard for kids that is full of toys. ❤️ Definitely will stay again on our next trip to Cork.

Best place to sleep and stay in the entire blarney county. Maranatha house has probably the most comfortable bed I ever slept with. The food was awesome and the service is top notch. If you need to stay near blarney or cork, this is the place.

Absolutely everything, but especially Dennis, our wonderful host, and Izzy, his house companion (four-legged and furry:) Add to that eight cats of multi colours and varied characters, the most charming house atmosphere imaginable, a variety of domestic fowl, heavenly roses and petunias nursed to perfection and voila! The perfect home away from home! We were sorry to leave after only one day, but were headed south for a family reunion. Had we known what a delightful host we were to encounter, we would have scheduled more time. Don’t forget to ask Dennis about Irish history, he is most informed and up for a good chat. I daren’t leave out the delicious homemade breakfast and the fact that Dennis packed us fresh scones and treats for our travels! Where else but in Ireland?

Solid 10. From the comfy beds, to the views. Perfect place if you enjoy the peace and quiet. Nearby supermarket, breakfast and toiletries included in all the accommodations. If you are renting a car, 100% recommended. Free parking included, not to far from the airport or town but enough to enjoy the countryside The host is lovely. We definitely will be back!
