Everything, the location was pure nature, the room was big and clean, the beds comfy and the bathroom incredible. The building itself is wonderful, you feel like being in a movie from old times. The breakfast was delicious, home made products. Is hard to say what was the best, but the hospitality provided by the host was outstanding. I really recommend this place.

Everything was brand new. Groceries and pub at your door. Full kitchen , large lounge and dining room available for all guests. Great spot off the highway for overnight. Bed was like a cloud to sleep on.

The B&B is located in a quiet area of Athlone. Easy walking distance to the Centre. Many restaurants or pubs nearby. I can also recommend the local brewery Dead Centre Brewing. You can sit outside with river view. The bear tastes great. The hosts of the Riverdale House gave us many recommendations. Both are very friendly, open minded and helpful. Extremely nice people. The choice for breakfast is great and tastes extremely good. The whole place is lovely decorated and furnished. I wish we had planned a longer stay there. Parking on the spot.

Really enjoyed my stay here! The place is super clean and cozy, and the view of the river is gorgeous. It’s right in the middle of everything—just a few steps from Schoen’s Bar, lots of places to eat, and even a hotel nearby where you can grab a nice breakfast. Perfect base for exploring Athlone. Would definitely stay again!
