Good location, nice personnel. We reached out to the reception desk after having discovered that our room was crawling with cockroaches and we were immediately offered another room where we saw no more cockroaches.

Staff is kindly and breakfast is good. We could see many kinds of animals and birds (monkeys, deers, wild pig, and Jalak Putih) in the site. We were able to eat breakfast while watching a deer and its baby seeing the sunrise on the horizon. We enjoyed snorkeling, kayak, and Indonesian afternoon tea with free.

The staff are very friendly and super nice. I got to meet with the house owner and his who happen to be the sweetest people in the world. My room had a beach view, and I couldn’t even tell you how beautiful the sunrise was from up here. 10/10 food as well. Room service was fast and every plate comes with flowers.

The best place to stay if you are looking to do Ijen trek from BanyuWangi and also just to chill around. It is located very close to the port and lot of shops, restaurants & Indomart are nearby. The home stay is maintained so clean & neat, we stayed in their double room with shared bathroom. Rooms were comfy & bathrooms were always kept clean. You also refill your bottles, they have kept free drinking water. The hosts are so polite and caring. Their arrange package tour to Ijen which includes pick up right from homestay, so it’s quite easy. They also provide rental jackets, if you had went for the trek unprepared like us. 😅 After you are back from the trek, you will be welcomed with delicious food, coffee & fruits. 🤤 That was so satisfying to have such a yummy meals after the trek. They also arrange transport to go to main areas in Bali. You will definitely have a great experience with Ijen backpackers. 👍🏻

It’s a great stay there and it felt like home when we stayed there. The Ibu and the grandma that handle that place were so lovely and friendly like I visited my grandma and my auntie after a long time. Ibu Marhamah was so good in cooking. She will cook for you if you ask.

Very close to the ferry and just 4 min from the train station 🚉 Ac and clean room. Basic but all you need in my opinion :) the owner was super friendly and helpful and always had a smile on her face, loved our 2 nights here!
