- Dimmer is a fantastic host. He picks us up his guests at the piers and answers every question you may have. - The place is well situated, just outside Tuktuk main area. - We had a room in the garden, the bed is comfortable and it is quiet at night. - Kettle and fridge in the room. - Good wifi. - Possibility to rent a scooter. There are in good conditions and with a full tank. - Good restaurant next door, for your breakfast. We'll book here again if we visit again Samosir island.

Mr Bloom is very nice guy, who helped us out a lot. Gave us recommendations. Rooms are big , clean and there’s hot water. Dropped us of at the local bus stop and made sure we took the right bus.

Food was delicious. The room was very comfortable. Hot water for traditional shower was perfect everyday. Scooter rental by the host. The personal was so comprehensive, friendly, felt like home.

The apartment has a large living room, kitchen, water point and balcony. The place is made special by Marin, fluent in English and a warm personality who makes you feel at home and really helps you with everything you need (transport, getting scooters and directions). She also runs a restaurant downstairs from the apartment (no noise at all) and you really do not want to go anywhere else for breakfast. Delicious, also for lunch and dinner.

What a great sanctuary of a place and wonderful people! Nia, the Manager did all she could to welcome us and even stayed up late when we had unavoidable delays making us arrive well past check in. But the whole team are fantastic being attentive and responsive to our needs and requests with smiles at the ready. The inclusion of your choice of breakfast is fantastic and it was the nicest breakfast and cleanest accommodation we had in our month on Sumatra We stayed for 5 nights but would have happily stayed longer. We had to move one night as they were full and stayed at Carolina Cottages but couldn’t wait to get back to a much more welcoming and flexible vibe at Hub Tata If you want peaceful lakeside spot and a lovely vibe with helpful good people and a delicious breakfast this is your place! A place with an interesting view, new, newly renovated rooms, well-equipped, at least in the one we stayed in. Big balcony. Very friendly gentleman at the reception, also very helpful and with a sense of humor. Clean and quiet. We recommend.
