Everything was exceptional! The hosts are amazingly kind and generous. Peso picked us up from the overnight bus and let us into our rooms at 7am, gave us breakfast and got us on his tour for the day. He’s a great guide and runs very smooth tours, he is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Toraja culture and history, his English is good. The room and house is of hotel standard, with homestay personal care and attention. The cleanest feet I’ve had in Indonesia! The best homestay of our travels! The food is delicious and abundant! Quiet location yet central enough, beautiful views. The hosts also dropped us at the bus station for our returning overnight bus, after our 3 day stayed. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you

The guesthouse is a perfect place to stay. The owners are really nice and can help you with everything, including scooter rental and tours, and they come and pick you up at the busstation. The guide, Yulius, is also wonderful, he can show you the places where no other tourist come. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

We had a great time at Villa Bait Lino, Lukas and his family are very nice people and invested to make you spend a good time. The place is beautiful, you sleep just in front of the rices fields and the mountains. I absolutely recommend this place to discover the toraja culture. Also i would recommand Marco as a guide to help you discover Toraja, he is a very nice person, commited to his work and he'll tell you everything you need to know about the toraja culture.

Totally reccomended if you stay in Rantepao, the hosts are simply amazing! They are very kind and helpful and have a lot of insights regarding the region. Once you are there you become part of the family and you will not want to leave :) The breakfast is delicious and the house itself is very charming. It is located near a rice field, close to the city center (walking distance) but quiet. So far the best homestay I have been. Thank you very much for everything and see you soon in Europe :)

The host Aldhi is super amazing. He is extremely passionate about his place and job as a host. He goes out of his way to ensure all my needs are taken care of. Right from the moment I booked his place until the day I left. All my concerns and even any bookings that I need to be done was helped by him ie my bus from Makassar to Toraja was sorted out by Aldhi. Aldhi is also super amazing in recommending you places of interest. Plus awesome places for their local festivities and food. He knows I love to run hence he even helped me book a run in Bori which is super amazing. The property I stayed in is a traditional tongkonan that is more than 300 years old and still in immaculate condition. It is beautifully surrounded by bamboo forest, open green garden and padi fields dotted with some village homes. In the mornings I’m greeted by the crowing of the cockerels and chirping of birds. Milly and Boy, both their cute family dogs will always be there to greet me. The Location is smacked between all the touristic places. A short 900m from KeKetsu, near to Rantepao town center and has laundry and shops within walking distance. The family feeling is awesome. Aldhi’s wife is a surgeon and her mom, ibu who glues everything at home and their lovely daughter Diana are really warm and kind. They know when to give you the space you need and also any help that you require.

We liked the kindness of the owners, Daud is excellent host, very helpful - he is also a local guide. The whole place is very clean - I would say exceptionally clean with beautiful plants, trees and flowers in the garden. Plus you have coffee and breakfast every morning - banana pancakes are amazing! You can meet a lot of travellers, backpackers here and exchange information about your trips..

It's the first time in all my trips that someone does what Hendrick did to us. Helping us to catch the night bus from Macasar to Rantepao when we were late and tired. Amazing! The brand new building, the breakfast, the place away from the main road. The experiences we had, everything was good. We had a beautiful time with them, It is highly recommended!
