We came here looking for understanding of everyday Indonesian life and left with amazing friend and stories. I advise everyone to spend here more than one night as it will allow you to take part in more activities and fully experience the everyday life. People in the village are not used to tourists yet so they were surprised by us being there. They were all very nice, welcoming, funny and just overall great people. Breakfast pancakes are way better than all the hotel breakfasts that I had in Indonesia. The host also gave us a cooking lesson which was an amazing experience! Overall, here you will be able to meet amazing and interesting people, explore true life of Indonesia, feel their culture and be part of a journey which you will tell to all your friends. I deeply recommend it, if you have the right eyes for such beauty!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The surroundings were so peaceful and beautiful, with relaxing nature and a lovely riverside view. The host family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home and treating us like part of their own family. We had booked for 2 nights but loved it so much that we extended our stay by another day. Highly, highly recommend this place — we would definitely love to visit again!

The building is a marvellous traditional wooden building. The staff are wonderful. Beds huge and super comfortable. They have a gymnasium! They have lovely garden and great rice paddy views. The food was traditional Indonesian food and was excellent. Air con was great. Rooms are huge. The place is a real hidden little gem.

We had a truly incredible three days at the villa and with Abdi, who was there for us throughout our stay. The villa is beautiful, with a lovely view of Mount Rinjani if ​​you wake up early in the morning, as well as direct access to the rice fields. Everything is super clean and well-appointed. Go here! The family is so welcoming and you will have a wonderful stay there. You can enjoy "the real lombok" here. Jar wants to take you to the highlights in the area and Russ cooks the most delicious dishes. And meanwhile the kids want to play with you and teach you new things. I really felt part of the family. Staff were really friendly and welcoming they made sure I had everything I need for my stay. The owner also gave me opportunities to meet his friends and family and also to teach at a local school which was a great experience. I would highly recommend muni’s bungalows( one in masbagik or lendang belo) for both family and solo travellers. His English was very good which made the stay even more nice, he offered me tea and coffee everytime I saw him, which went well with his delicious breakfast.
