The hosts were super friendly and the included breakfast was delicious. They even made vegan pancakes for the first time for us. The bungalow is located direktly at the beach and you have a nice view sitting on the veranda. Room is spacious and clean. The island is very calm and beautiful for snorkelling.

Sofia and her husband have been super Nice to us, the place was lovely directly on the beach and great breakfast. They organized us a snorkeling tour and transportation at prices that was better than any other offers we had (and this area seemed tougher in terms of negotating) so I highly recommand talking with them for everything you need

This stay was the best one of my trip in Indonesia. Not only the house is well located and good maintained but the host Irwan was the best company. He took me snorkelling, we saw many sea animals and different islands. Also, we fished and ate it in the night together. The people of the island are very friendly and I felt 100% safe as a solo female traveller. I will come back <3

I had the pleasure of staying at Pelangi Homestay with a friend and we were blown away by the experience. The owners are incredibly welcoming and lovely, and Zuria, in particular, is an absolute delight. She is sweet, friendly, and cooks the most delicious food! We were lucky enough to go on two snorkeling trips during our stay, one of which was with Zuria's dad who is just as kind as his daughter. We also had the opportunity to explore the islands of Gili Nanggu and Kedis with Anton, a very nice man who showed us around and engaged us in interesting conversations. The homestay itself is impeccably clean and the atmosphere is fantastic. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the islands. We cannot recommend Pelangi Homestay enough! Thank you 💛

Absolutely loved our stay at Palmyra and wish we could have stayed longer! The perfect little oasis for us to relax after Mount Rinjani trek - we felt spoilt by the serene location, waking up to roll into the sea, amazing food ( definitely try the Pepes and fresh barbecued fish with the most amazing spice marinade), massages (much needed for our sore legs), super lovely staff and a great day trip snorkelling. Loved the bungalows and sustainable cold water salt shower. Thank you, we felt so looked after! We’ll be back!

Definitely stay here if you're going to Gili Asahan! Beautiful boutique family-owned beachside hotel with great rooms, chef-designed menu, incredible facilities including on-site massage and free kayaks and paddleboard hire. The hotel also arranges snorkelling tours to the local secret Gili islands, and we swam with fish and turtles - stunning. There aren't many hotels on Gili Asahan and this seemed to be the best, most modern one by far.
