Galatia Villa is a beautiful home away from home in a stunning jungle setting. The staff were lovely, very helpful (Ketut scrubbed my walking shoes!) and they obviously take pride in their roles as host and butler. Edie and Ketut were both there to greet me and Edie took me on a fantastic tour of North Bali attractions.

Certainly must be visited new place on the North Coast of Bali. It takes some efforts and time to reach SKYLODGE from Ubud or elsewhere, but totally worth to go, stay and experience. If you prioritise calmness, nature and good care, don't hesitate. After 2 nights I decided to stay here longer. Arty design with paintings of the owner Gordon, His mother and grandmother. Delicious pankakes with a plentiful plate of fruits and Balinese coffee. Very tasty and different dinners. Precious time in quieteness without crowds, noise, traffic jams. Refreshing pool with a natural water. It's is rightfully described as retreat surrounded by the magnificent jungle.

We had an amazing stay at a lovely French couple's accommodation in Bali. The serene surroundings and breathtaking views surpassed our expectations, leading us to extend our stay by two extra nights. The location was a hidden gem, far away from the touristy areas, offering a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The local town had a friendly and welcoming community, allowing us to experience authentic Balinese hospitality. The accommodation provided reliable WiFi, enabling us to effortlessly make video calls back to Europe. This was a crucial factor for us, and we were pleased with the seamless connection. Exploring the area was made convenient with the excellent scooters available for rent at the best rates we found on the island. We had the freedom to discover the untouched beauty of Bali, including a memorable hike through the nearby valley. The stunning natural landscapes and serene rice fields were far more impressive than the crowded tourist attractions marked on maps. Overall, our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The genuine hospitality of the French couple, combined with the picturesque surroundings, created an unforgettable experience. A wonderful spacious villa away from people and tourists. Very quiet and peaceful place. The staff is very polite and helpful in any situation. You can order delivery from restaurants. Special thanks to D'dek for organizing food, deliveries and laundry, to Puja for the escort around the island and to the owner Miko for organizing our stay. Of course, the distance from Ubud can be a repulsive factor for many, but getting there by taxi for a reasonable price is not a problem. Plus, there is less rain in the northern part of the island. The villa fully corresponds to the photos in the description. My fiancee and I really liked it. We will come back here again.
