The brekfast was amazing. The owner of the guesthouse helped us booking our trip to moni and didn't let us leave early in the morning without breakfast. He was so nice. Scooter rent for 100'000. We would absolutely go there again!

From the moment we arrived the hospitality and friendliness of this wonderful family made our stay in Bajawa Roo a delight ...we wish that we had more time to stay longer . The position of this charming Hotel at the base of bamboo forested Hill, with views over the town and the Volcano was a quiet haven. The rooms have terraces or balconies overlooking the views and lovely well maintained gardens and also a roof terrace for dining and amazing views. Our bed was the most comfortable bed we have had on our 7 months of travelling . The family organisers any tours or travel arrangements you need and the breakfasts were fresh and delicious. It was a wonderful experience staying in this delightful hotel, and it is highly recommend on your visit to Bajawa, as it is a beautiful part of Flores .

We really enjoyed our stay at Benabilla Cottage. The host, Ichan, was wonderful, super friendly and helpful. The service was amazing and the location was perfect to explore all the highlights around Bajawa, like the Iniri volcano, the hot springs and the traditional village. We’d definitely recommend staying here!

The owner, Moses, completely took care of us from a to z. He organised delicious meals for us every day and went out of his way to organise the activities we wanted to do. He took us to the local market, to his other hotel in on badjawa, to the hot springs, a local waterfall and more! Rarely have we been so welcomed anywhere. He is completely fluent in English and was patient with our questions about the local area and people. Thank you Moses! The hotel is off the beaten tourist path and you are staying in a real local Floresian village. The locals are so friendly! The location on the beachfront is amazing too and you can snorkel straight off the beach. We made a last minute decision to stay here instead of in Badjawa and we didn't regret it for a second. Much nicer to be in the countryside in the calm where you can do everything that you can do from the town anyway. We didn't want to leave!

What’s not to like? You get a huge bungalow, a wonderful view of Gunung Inerie, and the yummiest food served at their restaurant. The view from the restaurant when you step out onto the verandah is drop-dead gorgeous - leaving no doubt as to why the place is called Heaven’s Door. During my entire holiday, this was my favorite stay. Upon my arrival I was met by the friendly Jimmy who offered me a welcoming drink and showed me my room. You have a perfect view of the beautiful Mount Inerie while you eat your amazing breakfast, with live music in the background and good people to keep you company. Remember to drink some Dr. Arak, their local drink. Plus the staff will help you arrange transport to Mt. Inerie to go for the BEST sunrise hike in your life! Jimmy was always there to help me with transport to wherever I needed to be, even on the day before Christmas. I've never met people as good as the people in Flores, and the staff at Manulalu proved this sentiment through and through. Would 100% recommend! Please do yourself a favor and spend a few nights here.
