The room, the bathroom, the shower and the bed were very big, comfortable and clean. The location is excellent and the staff very kind. Every room has a porch with garden furniture and a hammock. The lake is very close and you get the lake view and sunset from the premises. We were able to see it from our room There is a huge kitchen very well equipped that you can use. We really loved this place

Clean room with private toilet and towels provided. The location is great if you want to visit Tikal since it is closer than Flores. The host is lovely, she arranged the transportation to Tikal for us. She also offers laundry service. The veranda with plants is peaceful. There is a common kitchen to use and she provided us with coffee. There is coffee machine and stove.

Attentive and friendly staff Clean room comfy beds. A bench and table in the room with a hammock and rocking chair on the veranda. No fridge but free supply of chilled water from a dispenser a few steps away. Altogether a quaint, interesting hotel, really enjoyed our stay.  We enjoy the breakfast and dinner in the open air restaurant also with a lake view. Tasty and not overly expensive meals whilst watching lots of different birds on the feeders just feet away . Beautifully laid out garden with the ability to eat and drink on a terrace with a magnificent view of the lake built at the bottom serviced by a zip wire dumb waiter. One of the days we caught the 5:30 bus from outside Gardinier up on the main road (1 minute walk) the other day we walked down to the lake road to the nature reserve. Saw close too 3 groups of spider monkeys a beautiful pale billed woodpecker hard at work. A little toad hopping across the path and a couple of large blue winged butterflies. It was very hot and required more water than we took and don't go without a stout pair of boots/shoes. Quite a strenuous hike for oldies like us.  We feel if you are visiting Tikal this is a much better option than staying in Flores that we went on to stay at subsequently

The woman is very nice to wait for us even though we arrived very late at night, around 11PM. The beds are equipped with mosquito nets. Great location, nice and friendly staff, safe parking

The room was spatious and we had our own bathroom. The staff was very friendly. Good parking space in safe location close to the rooms. The restaurant was of excellent quality and good options (but consider that prices are higher than in town). Close to the lake, walking distance access. We had the possibility to change USD, which was very handy.

The place is beautiful and has its own pier on the lake. Could be better with more loungers or hammocks but nevertheless this is unique. We had bungalove which was very good choise with own bathroom and air conditioning and terace, beds comfortable. There is parking space. Is good place to visit Tikal. You can have some rest after and before. They have their own restaurant.
