We have spent a night at Hotel Philippos in Livadia on our way to Crete... we arrived late at night after an exhausting road trip, where the night auditor welcomed us on a very friendly and professional way explainining with every detail, what we needed to know about our stay!! We were upgraded to a superior room overlooking the pool and the beautiful surroundings. The bed was very confortable maybe the best we had in years!! Buffet breakfast was served the following morning, which we found very delicious. But the most wonderful thing about the hotel was its people !!Very gentle, polite and friendly, made us feel like home, even if it was for a night.. The house is really comfortable, beautifully arranged and is equipped with always you may need for your stay. The view is incredible. The house is at the end of the village and is absolutely quiet. The tavern in the center offers food with fantastic quality. Agios Isidoros Beach is about 30 minutes by car. Very close to the village is the Osios Luka Monastery with long history. Less than 30 minutes by car are the beautiful villages Arachova and Delphi. The host is so kind, helpful and really cares about her guests. She was close to us with her advices about everything. We recommend the house to all people looking for peaceful and comfortable place for their vacation. We will stay there again for sure.
