We took a room with two separate single beds which had a very comfortable mattress (not too hard and not too soft). The pillows are not soggy and give good neck support. Clean sheets, which smell freshly washed and clean towels in the room. The bathroom was a separate room with a shower. There was plenty of hot water, but when opened the cold water, it dominates, hence the flow needs to be kept low. There was a kettle with coffee, tee, cups and everything was clean. The owner, George, greeted us upon arrival and gave us instructions and suggestions of the interesting places to visit in the area. Very helpful and talkative host. The room was on the second floor so had to climb some stairs, but we had light luggage, so no issue. The room was quiet and located in the back side, away from the front street noise. The breakfast was plentiful and many options of items to choose from (omelet, cereals, meat-cuts, feta cheese, eggs, sweets, biscuits, fruits). Also freshly toasted bread. The coffee was freshly made from a machine per liking. We also liked the home-made cheese and spinach pie (tiropita, spanakopita).

Quiet accommodation on the second flow of a house in Chrisso at 7 km of Delphi. Room with a very good bed, basic bathroom, comfortable living room, fridge, possibility to prepare hot drinks and breakfast. Chrisso is an authentic Greek village with a rich history related to the one of Delphi and has several restaurants. The one down the street was very very good! But the most important thing to mention about this accommodation is the warm welcome, the morning coffees and the fresh lemonade in the afternoon from Dina and Panos: hospitality at it’s best! We highly recommend spending time at their place! True happiness!

The unit was large, spotlessly clean, and extremely well equipped. Google Maps sent us up through some very narrow roads, but there are better, wider, straighter roads to this lovely apartment. Only ten minutes to Delphi. The real treat was our lovely hostess. She was so adorable! She offered us homemade lemonade from her own lemon tree, and she was disappointed not to be able to offer us coffee in the morning as we were heading back early to Athens.

A small unassuming little hotel, but the views from the rooms are spectacular. Specious 2 rooms together, perfect for family 2 kids 2 adults. Breakfast is simple but you can always opt out and go up the road for breakfast. Location is perfect, shops, restaurants either way down the road. Delphi archaeological site and museum only few minutes drive. And on a hot day you can drive 5 minutes out of Delphi and ask one of the campsite very nicely to use their pool for a fiver a person.

I booked 8 days at Castri Hotel to finish writing my book, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. I requested a room with a desk and a nice view, and they went above and beyond—giving me the most beautiful room overlooking both the mountains and the sea. The view alone was inspiring! The staff and the owner were incredibly kind and attentive. When they overheard that I was gluten-free, they went out of their way to buy gluten-free items for me for breakfast. Every interaction was warm, genuine, and always delivered with a smile. The hotel itself is recently refurbished, pristinely clean, quiet, and very comfortable—exactly what you’d want for a relaxing stay in Delphi. Between the inspiring setting, the thoughtful hospitality, and the peaceful atmosphere, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
