The place is marvellous... in a very beautiful beach, in a lovely nature... we even saw monkeys jumping there as we arrived at the place. The staff was very nice and the food delicious. The owner is a very nice person who always tries to help you and make your stay perfect.

Beutiful palmtrees everywhere. A constant ambience of nature, cute dogs and very nice houses. The food is amazing, and they work together with locals to provide entertainment, knowledge and services. I for example got my and my girlfriend’s hair braided pretty much for free cause of the their local connection. This retreat is owned by lovely people that give back a lot to the community.

Kindness of the staff, the location, it's safe to leave your stuff on the beach when you go for a walk or swim, people don't try to sell things all the time, great local food, best place to relax and meet people. It's an eco lodge, so they ask you to respect that and to think twice before you use water or electricity. Not the place to go if you want a luxery hotel, with European food and facilities, You will find those hotels in the tourist area where they treat you like a tourist. At Nemasu you're a guest. My stay at Mangrove exceeded my expectations, I was made to feel very welcome. Thank you to Awa, Pa and the boys who couldn’t do enough for me, I feel they are all my extended family, very sad to leave but I will be back!
