It is a perfect place to stay in Strathpeffer or if you are travelling in the nearby area, the room is brilliant, with a fantastic view. The hosts love the place and share this love with their guests! They are great people, really helpful and caring. The staff were all absolutely delightful! The breakfast was delicious and provided loads of options. The room was large, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great - right in the heart of the gorgeous little town, and as a bonus the first night I was there the local bagpipe team and dance school did a performance in the middle of town which was just a short walk away. They were great with pets - the only place they weren't allowed was in the breakfast room which still meant if you wanted to bring them for a drink at the bar or on the terrace you could. I would definitely stay here again.

Probably one of the comfiest beds ever! Stunning window view, abslute cleanliness, very welcoming and Friendly. The most outstanding thing about the place is how well it's maintained its authenticity. Very scottish 😍. Cozy breakfast place and bar with amazing view. Just lovely.

This inconspicuous roadside hotel in a small village turned out to be one of the best hotels I've been to. I can't think of any flaws, it's just perfect. The room was good size, clean and comfortable, no facilities missing. Amazing food at the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast. The staff were super friendly. Our dog was also warmly welcomed and loved the place. 10/10, would book again.

We very much enjoyed the comfort, one of the best breakfast during our road trip across Scotland and also very kind and helpful owner who obviously puts a lot of effort to provide this kind of warm and pleasant experience for the guests of Garfield Guesthouse.

This used to be a very beautiful, posh and classy hotel a while ago. It is still a nice highland hotel located near Inverness, and we do recommend it, though the hotel is a bit run down and suffers from lack of good maintenance. The dinner was good, and the bar & common rooms were beautiful. Comfy bed and duvet, nice bathroom, spacious rooms. Free parking. Short distance to small local shops and cafés. We recommend to see the Touchstone Maze and Castle Leod nearby.
